Is there more to my human experience than just my physical body?

Learn to achieve a deep, peaceful sense of love that pervades your daily life.

Why do bad things happen to good people?

Level 1 is specifically designed to reduce negative emotions and help us create a new world.

Why do things work sometimes and other times they don’t?

Gain mental clarity on the nature of reality; create the world you believe is possible.

Who is Lady Niguma?

Lady Niguma is considered one of the most important and influential yoginis of 10-11th century India.

The woodblock prints of her asana system were recently rediscovered, and are now considered to be the oldest known recorded yoga asana sequences.

Lineage Holder

This tradition has descended through an unbroken line from Lady Niguma herself over 1,000 years - but this is the first time her wisdom has been made available this way.

By pouring over decades of study and practice, with years and years of silent retreat, our team has poured their experience and wisdom into these courses for you.

Mastery of Lady Niguma’s yoga has the ability to radically transform a practitioner’s experience of the world in a very short period of time.

By combining the outer methods of the physical elements of yoga with the inner practices of the traditional and ancient systems, results manifest more quickly.

This is how we get answers to life's biggest questions.

It's like walking around in a dark room searching for a light switch. YSI is here to show you where the switch is and how to flip it—so the mysteries of the subtle body become manifest.

Triumph of the Winds

May 4-5 + 11-12 [Online]

April 19-22 [Online]
July 28 - August 1 [In-person Turkey]

Lady Niguma II, Triumph of the Winds, is a profound experiential journey through the five major winds or vayus in the body.  These inner winds, or inner energies, are connected to five main negative states of mind, and by understanding the winds and states of mind, by understanding the practices of Lady Niguma’s yoga, we can transform these negative states of mind into five aspects of her perfect wisdom.

Five winds and five negative emotions transformed into five wisdoms.  This is the essence of Lady Niguma’s Triumph of the Winds series.

August 2-5 [In-person Turkey]

In the Emotional Alchemy course, we will go deeper and add a further connection to our existing paradigm of the 5 winds, negative emotions, and wisdoms.  Here, we introduce and connect the “heaps”, or the things that make up “me” in the sense of my body and my mind.

There are five heaps and each is connected to an individual wind and therefore to one of the five aspects of Lady Niguma’s wisdom.  So, we are not only purifying our negative emotions, but we are also purifying our body and our mind via the purification of the five heaps.

Benji Bridges

North Carolina, USA

I have worked with YSI for 3 years, maturing alongside the organization - enjoying all of the courses with the community of practitioners and teachers. Before YSI, I studied many other traditions before making a commitment to practice these teachings to their highest conclusion.

In 2016, I traded a life of business for a new life as a farmer. With all of the physical exercise and spiritual work I was doing, Lady Niguma’s yoga came into my life. I practiced it for years without ever meeting YSI. Little did they (and I) know, I was planting the seeds that would force them to hire me and to teach me!

With a Yogic Lifestyle and my love of creating a new world, I have created farms, medicinal gardens, developed an intentional community and a homestead with my family. Now, I am working to build a school that teaches yoga and stewardship. Years of yoga practice and adhering to codes of conduct are the only ways I could have made these dreams a reality!

Alex Rivas

Entrepreneur, yoga teacher, and translator: Alex also works as a volunteer doing voice-overs, subtitling, and translating for online and live events, helping spread the yoga teachings to the world. In his entrepreneurial life, he took all these teachings to start a successful vegetarian and health store in Mexico, called “O-Mart Ecomarket,” working alongside his wife to protect life, bringing these stores all around Mexico.

In his personal life, he has two kids, 10 and 6 years old. They are already practicing Yoga! He loves to spend time with family and friends, singing and going out.
