Imagine a wave of intentional practice rippling across the globe—hour by hour, hand to hand, heart to heart.
On the anniversary of our teacher’s direct realization of emptiness, we come together in a 24 hour celebration of meditation, movement, and reflection. Each hour, the torch is passed to a teacher from one of the many Worldview Organizations in Geshe Michael Roach’s network. As YSI’s global practice perpetuates this ripple, spreading from one heart to the next. Together, our international community becomes a stream of light—unbroken, united, and devoted to something greater than ourselves.
To honour this day and this experience, we will offer 48+ classes that will guide students through the 8-limb path outlined in the Yoga Sutra, the essential text on yoga philosophy. This framework is fundamental to YSI’s teachings on yoga as it was designed to bring practitioners to this transformative experience.
